  34. The MapManager module was written to help examining or even repairing harddiscs
  35. whose maps do not correspond completely to the directory tree, signified by the
  36. message 'Map inconsistent with directory tree' from *CheckMap.  It can:
  37. * Give full map details
  38. * Check and list the contents of the map
  39. * Check the map checksums
  40. * Check the free space chain
  41. * List all fragments in a given zone
  42. * Find specified object IDs in the map and in the directory tree
  43. Future releases of MapManager may be able to repair hard disc maps.
